Ticketmaster.com You can specify your city and state, pick the type of enterainment and find what you want.
As well as trying Ticketmaster.com and all the usual places, why not try ebay? Sounds wierd I know but all kinds of fabulous tickets land up on there for some reason!

There you can buy tickets for London, New York, Las Vegas, etc.
Ticket master should be your best bet. Or even try lastminute.com. Don't just look at the old classics. There are some amazing new musicals about too. Look into Wicked, Billy Elliot or Avenue Q.
